Heavy Rain the highly anticipated Sony Playstation 3 game from Quantic Dream has opened to rave reviews with 88% of the Metacritic reviewers giving it a thumbs up for its revolutionary and unique gameplay unseen in the adventure genre with a controversial control scheme, which is going well with the players.

Thanks to its pre-launch hype it landed straight at the top of the weekly UK sales chart and the terrific initial feedback also provided an impetus.

If this sets you in motion to grab a copy at at the nearest store, you are in for some extra footwork as the supply is running low and you may need to hunt around in order to find a copy. Sony says it is working hard to have more stock avaiable soon.
