Spotify, the hugely popular peer-to-peer music streaming service which had started two new services last month and upgraded its iPhone and Android apps isnt done with release and features yet. Spotify has launched a new Spotify TV service in Finland in collaboration with telecommunications company TeliaSonera.
TeliaSonera’s 120,000 digital TV customers could access the streamlined music-on-TV Spotify app , it is only available to people who have subscribed to the Spotify Premium service. Users can access their playlists on the TV screen via a TeliaSonera remote control. “The move marks a major step forward in Spotify’s evolution as we continue our aim of making music available wherever you are, whenever you need it,” said Spotify’s press release.
All this is definitely music to Spotify customers ears and their TV speakers, but, what about us U.K. customers?
