Microsoft had in the past managed to rope in leading hardware and OEM manufacturers for its software , and continuing the tradition its lineup of manufacturers for the upcoming and promising Windows Phone 7 launch is very impressive.  After the regular rounds of rumors, Microsoft has confirmed that HTC, Dell, ASUS, LG, and Samsung  will be making Windows Phone 7 phones.

These companies should have their devices ready for launch by the end of the year, with the launch of the OS still vaguely slated around December. Programmer conflipper has posted codenames for the upcoming HTC devices “HTC Salsa(WP7?), HTC Motion, HTC Maestro, HTC Swing(WP7?), HTC Blitz, HTC Sage, HTC Tango(WP7?), HTC Vienna. Guessing on OS not sure on that’ with a disclaimer  ” ..Look for these possible HTC Devices in future. I say possible, because they could change codenames, or be discontinued.”. It is possible that some of these phones could be running the new Windows mobile OS.
