Apple is leaving no stone unturned to sell its tablet device, the iPad maker is apparently buying Google AdWords ads targeting potential buyers of the Dell Streak and HP Slate.
The screenshot above was captured after we did a search for ‘Dell Streak’ on Google.co.uk . As you can see, Apple is trying to capture the attention of Dell Streak searchers by buying text ads on Google, in an attempt to get them to click through to the iPad product page instead of moving on with said search.
Its not just Dell Streak which Apple has directed its ad-words budget for , HP Mini tablet search shows the same result (see image below).
It is a smart move on Apple’s part to find new ways to lure people away from a competitor’s product.
