HTC is working on a version of their Sense UI for Windows Phone 7. Microsoft has taken steps to standardize the Windows Phone 7 user interface to the core level, they had earlier revealed that handset manufacturers couldn’t reskin Windows Phone 7 devices wholesale,it was a bid to exert more control over the phones that use its upcoming mobile software.
Drew Bamford, who heads the HTC’s user experience design team said “Microsoft has taken firmer control of the core experience [in Windows Phone 7], but we can still innovate.” He added that the future version of Sense, won’t look the way it does on current Windows Mobile phones, where it basically replaces all the core applications and is fully integrated into the phone.
