Windows mobile developers have a reason to smile as  Microsoft  has released the developer tools that should enable content creators to write apps for Windows Phone 7 smartphone platform, Microsoft on its part is hard at work with Windows Phone 7, in preparation for the new platform’s launch that should take place towards the end of the year.

This build of the Windows Phone 7 developer tools is still in beta form but Microsoft  says it’s a near-final version , apart from the API it also contains Developer Registration Utility (it unlocks Windows Phone 7 devices for development purposes), Microsoft Expression Blend for Windows Phone, XAP Deployment Tool and Control Templates
