The reported emails sent  by Steve Jobs to  some iPhone 4 users have attracted a lot of  criticism  on Internet and spilled over to the extent of customers filling lawsuits against Apple and AT &T.  An  Apple spokesman  has now said that  the entire e-mail exchange being attributed to  the CEO  did not actually take place the way it has been reported.

Supposedly in e-mail messages, Steve Jobs made statements like “You are most likely in an area with very low signal strength.” and “No, you are getting all worked up over a few days of rumors. Calm down.”

Apple’s public relations officials are notoriously close mouthed, however, It’s unclear whether the other emails attributed to Jobs were legitimate or fake as well; as is often the case, Apple officials did not return a request for comment by press time.
