Facebook app for Android  got updated to version 1.3.0 yesterday and the latest Android version is absolutely improving and fast catching up with the Facebook version on iPhone.

Version 1.3.0 adds some key new features like Events (like birthdays) , friend requests, and video playback. A redesigned interface greets you on start up, with seven icons for your news feed, profile, friends, photos, message in-box, events , and pending friend requests.
