Windows Phone 7

Windows Phone 7 debut is not formally announced but, the  news of its launch is now in open  thanks to Kevin Turner, COO of Microsoft who has let slip that Windows Phone 7 handsets are set to ship in U.K. and rest of  Europe this October.

Technology blog Engadget was the first to post a video about the comments made by the Microsoft Executive. “[It] has been tough – this is a lowlight. For me, the company, it’s tough. But, you know what, in the October, November timeframe – October likely across Europe, November in the US – we are back in the game.”said Turner in the presentation.  “There’s 200 [million] smartphones right now being sold. When you think about what is going to happen in the next three to five years, there will be 400 to 450 million sold. More than double the number.”
