At the BlackBerry Developer Conference in San Francisco yesterday , Research In Motion’s CEO Mike Lazaridis announced the company’s new tablet named PlayBook. The Tablet PC will hit US stores early next year and with rollouts after April in the rest of the world.
The PlayBook will run on an OS created by the recently acquired QNX, it will be called BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK, the mobile OS will be released to developers in the coming weeks.
