Intel has updated its processor pricing list for mobile i5, i7 and Celeron processors. Intel had released Core 1.33GHz i5-560UM (3M L2 cache, two cores, four threads, 32-nanometer), priced at US $250, “UM” indicates ultralow power, and these chips typically go in ultrathin laptops and even tablets. The 2.66Hz i5-580M (3M L2 cache, two cores, four threads) is priced at US $266, while the i5-560M (same clock speed) is priced at US $225.
The new mobile Celeron processors, the P4600 and T3500 get a price tag of $86 and $80, respectively. For the i7 line, The 2.8GHz i7-640M (4M L2 cache, two cores, four threads) is priced at $346.The more power-efficient 2.26GHz Core i7-660LM (4M L2 cache, two cores, four threads, 32nm) is listed at $346, while the most power efficient 1.46GHz i7-680UM (4M L2 cache, two cores, four threads, 32nm) is set at $317.
