Microsoft had promised to release its SkyDrive for Android app soon and the app has now debuted in the Google Play store. Microsoft already has Windows Phone and iOS apps for SkyDrive and offers virtually the same features in the Android version.

SkyDrive is not uniquely different than Google Drive, Dropbox or other competition, however, it offers new users more free storage (up to 7GB) and additional storage is generally cheaper than competition.
