Facebook has begun implementing many of the changes and rules to detect and delete fake activity including fake accounts and likes. The update made to Facebook’s integrity system, as expected has now started automatically detect and remove fake likes to the benefit of brands and users on the social network. Evidence could be already seen on some Pages like Zynga’s Texas HoldEm Poker whose fan count dropped by more than 96,000 yesterday after steady after long steady growth.
Facebook had said that “On average, less than 1% of Likes on any given Page will be removed” if they’ve followed its terms and haven’t shadily been buying Likes from hackers or people selling them.
