Another rumour came true, Apple’s Philip Schiller unveiled the anticipated 13.3-inch Retina MacBook Pro. The new MacBook Pro is 20 percent thinner than the than the previous generation 13-inch MacBook, and it includes a 2,560-by1,600 Retina display with 29 percent higher color contrast and 75 percent reduced reflection.
The device would start at $1,699 for the base configuration(128GB) and the second configuration (256GB) would be offered for $1,999. Both options below are configurable to a 2.9GHz dual-core Intel Core i7, it also features Intel HD Graphics 4000, 8GB of 1600 MHz memory, and up to 768GB of flash storage.
Connectivity is handled by two Thunderbolt and two USB 3.0 ports to allow users to connect to multiple displays and high-performance devices, and a new HDMI port offers quick connectivity to an HDTV.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display also features a FaceTime® HD camera, dual microphones, improved speakers, three-stream 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a MagSafe 2 power port.
