The Apple-Samsung court room battles continue. A Netherlands court has ordered Samsung Electronics to pay Apple damages after it ruled on Wednesday that some of Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets infringe an Apple patent relating to Android operating system versions 2.2.1 to 3.0 used on Samsung’s mobile devices.
Apple and Samsung clashed over the same exact patent issue last year. Samsung was accused of using the same “bounce back” feature as iOS when scrolling through images, Samsung replaced it with a blue flash that would appear on the edges of images. However, Samsung has refused to “sign a declaration of abstinence committing to not infringing the patent.”
