Apple has filed a motion in support of gay marriage to the US Supreme Court  according to a report by Bloomberg. The specific group will argue that Proposition 8, a California law banning gay marriage, should be overturned.

With this Apple joins the rank of other global companies such as including Intel, Facebook, EBay, Oracle Corp.,  Panasonic, Qualcomm,  Xerox Corp. and Zynga who are  in favour of the legalization of gay marriage in the United States.
