Facebook’s much talked and written about “Home on Android,” event saw Facebook taking the wraps off Home, a suite of apps and a home screen replacement for Android phones.
Facebook Home replaces the lock screen with Cover Feed and prioritizes updates from people on your Friends list instead of apps. Facebook users swipe between pictures, status updates and other important events. It also integrates messaging into a new feature called Chat Heads.
Facebook users will be able to download the user interface in the Google Play store starting April 12 and through links in Facebook and messenger apps. ome works on the HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung GALAXY S III and Samsung GALAXY Note II.
