Geeksphone, a start-up phone manufacturer headquartered in Madrid, Spain who were the first company to sell Firefox OS based phones for sale ran out of stock in just few hours according to a report from TechCrunch. The phones named Keon and Peak were retailing for US $119 and $194 respectively.
“Due to the great demand of our phones at shop.geeksphone.com, the shop is currently out of stock.” says their online store. “The online sale will restart in the following hours. Thanks a lot and sorry for the inconveniences.” it adds.
Keon has a 3.5-inch display and is powered by a single-core Snapdragon S1 processor clocked at 1GHz with a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1580mAh battery. The Peak comes with a qHD 4.3-inch display and is powered by a more powerful Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
