Microsoft’s and Google’s spat over Windows YouTube app seem to be heading towards a resolution, the two companies have agreed to team up and jointly create a native YouTube app for Microsoft’s mobile platform according to reports by The Next Web.
Microsoft and Google have released a joint statement today saying that they “are working together to update the new YouTube for Windows Phone app to enable compliance with YouTube’s API terms of service, including enabling ads, in the coming weeks.”
Google will get complete control over the content in the app as Microsoft will have to use the web standard iframe method to embed YouTube videos .
