The red carpet has been rolled out by Mplayit to announce the top mobile games in its collection. Mplayit is the maker of the immensely popular Mobile App Catalog that powers Facebook and lets users recommend and rate its games and apps through Twitter and Facebook.

Though an official report with the list of winners is expected later, the winners include Tetris, The Sims 3, Wheel of Fortune, Tap Tap Revenge and Rock Band. As per Mplayit, iPhone users are big on gaming while Blackberry and Android users prefers other mobile apps as compared to games.

Rock Band – a music game is especially very popular amongst iPhone users. Blackberry users have a strong preference for either TV/ movie related games like Deal or No Deal, CS Miami or for traditional card games like Aces Solitaire and GT Blackjack. My congratulations to all the winners!
