HTC Desire – Buh-Bye Nexus One

If you thought that the Google Nexus One was the hottest Android phone in the market today, you need to take a look at the very desirable – HTC Desire which has been recently showcased at MWC 2010.

Although both the phones have the same styling and chassis, the Nexus One takes a serious beating from the HTC Desire in most other aspects from HTC Desire. While the Sense UI is a distant desire for Nexus One, it works like an absolute charm on the HTC Desire. And the best part is HTC Desire even offers Flash 10.1 compatibility which will leave many Nexus One users gasping for more.

The HTC Desire is expected to make its debut in Europe and Asia in the April-May this year. If you already own a Nexus One, you’ll surely envy HTC Desire. However, I’m pretty sure that it’s a matter of time before Google brings Sense and Flash to Nexus One.

If you don’t own a Nexus One and you’ve been planning to buy an Android phone, look no further than the HTC Desire – It’s as trendy and desirable as it gets!

  • I don't think Google will bring the proprietary Sense UI to the Nexus One, ever.

    But I bet that the guys at XDA will find a hack to share the Sense UI with the Nexus One.

    What the HTC Desire with the revamped Sense UI's integration of contacts and the Xperia X10 with Timescape and even the Windows Phone 7 point to is that our handheld phones need to integrate with our social networks — not just the contacts the way the Android OS currently does out of the box.

    But deeper integration, for browsing, widgets, etc.
