When Steve Jobs launched the Apple Tablet aka ‘iPad’ amidst much fan fare and media hype, he chose to keep mum on the iPad pricing for UK customers.
A tech blog named ‘Geeky Gadgets’ has recently claimed that it has obtained access to the UK pricing details of the iPad. As per them, Wi-Fi only iPad will cost a miserly £389 where as the 32GB and 64GB versions will cost £439 and £489 respectively. These seem to be a bit higher compared to the US pricing for these models – £327, £392 and £458.
Apple has declined to comment on these price speculations. ‘Geeky Gadgets’ goes on to add that iPad may be coming to UK as early as April this year. Apple website still mentions ‘Shipping in Late March’ for iPad Wi-Fi model and ‘April’ for 3G enabled iPad.
I’m hoping the iPad comes to UK sooner than later and my hands are already itching for the iPad.
