Starting today Microsoft will begin rolling out Windows 7 SP1 automatically through the pre-installed Windows Update to Windows 7 users who still are running the RTM (release to manufacturing) version without SP1 installed.

Google has had Chat feature since the launch of Gmail, the newer services too got the chat feature limited to the application, for instance – If you are working on a Google Doc on your corporate GDrive account, your colleague will not be able to text chat with you from Gtalk/Gchat. This is repordely going to change.

Pinterest, the third social network, announced some slight changes to the design of the site and some new features. Pinterest has been testing the new look since January.

Dropbox is buying the Mailbox mobile app and Gmail client for the iPhone. The details of the deals weren’t disclosed.

Google has announced that Google is retiring it’s RSS application Google Reader on July 1.
Google Reader was developed in 2005 for users to curate and discover online content.
The news came today in a “Spring Cleaning” blog post from Google, where the company said:
