Google announced the Acer C7 Chromebook on Monday, it retails at US $199 – even cheaper than the recent Samsung Chromebook ($249) – with a 11.6-inch 1366x768p display, Intel processor, 320 GB hard disk space and of course Chrome OS.

Google has redesigned its search results. According to Google Search blog, the removal of the left hand sidebar is an attempt “to create a consistent search experience across the wide variety of devices and screen sizes people use today.”

EE has admitted that the launch of its 4G service in the UK has gotten off to a rocky start, in the rush to get 4G out there as quickly as possible has caused some glitches to the customers, who complained they had no service at all, leaving them unable to send or get texts, or take incoming calls.

Google said on Monday that a Wisconsin, US federal court has thrown out a lawsuit brought by Apple against Motorola Mobility, now owned by Google.
Apple has complained that Motorola is seeking unreasonably high license fees for the use of patents on wireless technology. Apple claimed that Motorola was seeking a license fee of 2.25 percent of the price of devices that infringe on Motorola’s patents, [...]

If you are a observant newspaper reader and subscribe to either The Guardian or The Daily Mail you may have spotted Apple small advertisement stating that Samsung did not infringe on iPad. The statement has been printed in the Guardian in 14-pt Arial font.

Apple had complied and published a notice stating that Samsung did not copy its design, as the result of a court ruling, the Court is not happy with the public statement. Appeal Court judges criticized Apple’s statement, in which it inserted four paragraphs including details of ‘similar German lawsuits’ which the court says are not correct.
