Microsoft has planned a security update for this Friday to shield Internet Explorer users from a security bug that can let any unauthorized remote person takeover the Operating System.

Facebook on Tuesday began testing new ads, you may see ads on your smartphone apps, the ads have not yet started appearing on the Facebook app itself.

Amazon has introduced its Cloud Player media service in the UK, France and Germany. Amazon Cloud Player scans users Music Player libraries and and stores their MP3s with high quality 256 kbps copies on Amazon’s servers.
All Amazon MP3 purchases are automatically saved to Cloud Player for free. Customers can store up to 250 tracks for free not including the Amazon purchased MP3s.

Twitter is abuzz with reports and retweets that Apple’s iMessage may be experiencing outages. Apple’s system status shows no signs of an outage, however the steady stream of users on Twitter reporting disruptions in service continues.

According to a preliminary ruling on Friday by International Trade Commission Judge at the Apple did not violate patents owned by Samsung in making the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. This gives Apple yet another victory over Samsung in the current patent war being fought by the two companies in numerous countries around the world.
