PayPal introduced “Log In with PayPal” which essentially is a new avatar of its PayPal Access feature for online merchants, the new feature is tailored for mobile devices. Paypal call it’s “commerce identity system” that will make it easy for shoppers to checkout using PayPal, consequently improving the user experience on merchant websites.

Apple reported earnings for first quarter of 2013, it posted a quarterly revenue of $43.6 billion and quarterly net profit of $9.5 billion, Apple earned $10.09 per share on the revenue of $43.60 billion versus $12.30 a share on $39.19 billion a year earlier.

Google’s Chairman Eric Schmidt has defended Google’s low tax payments in UK, claiming that Google operates within the law and is responsible for “billions of pounds” of spend in the country.

Twitter advertisers rejoice, Twitter has introduced changes to its ad platform which will let advertisers to target ads to Twitter users based on the words used in the tweets and deliver ads based on those keywords. The feature called ‘keyword targeting in timelines‘, and its available today in 15 languages and all markets.

PC sales registered “steepest decline ever in a single quarter” by falling as much as 14 percent this quarter on a year over year basis according to a report by IDC, who had earlier forecasted a 7.7 percent decline, this is the biggest decline since IDC started tracking the PC market nearly two decades ago.

Apple’s CEO Tim Cook apologized for the Apple’s iPhone warranty and repair policies in China. China’s state controlled media was criticizing Apple over its warranty policies. China said they were in violation of local law and not equal with Apple’s practices elsewhere in the world.

Google’s plan to take on Amazon and Ebay were earlier reported by The Wall Street Journal, Google is now reportedly preparing the launch of a same-day delivery service, Google Shopping Express according toTechCrunch.
