Amazon.co.uk and amazon.com led ForeSee’s annual Holiday E-Retail Satisfaction Index Customer Satisfaction Scores for the Top 40 Retail Websites in the UK.

Facebook posting $1.26 billion in revenues for its third quarter against the analyst estimate of $1.23 billion, earnings per share for the company, meanwhile, came in at $.12 compared to an estimate of $.11. The narrow margin was enough to boost the sentiment of investors as Facebook’s stock price was up 11% in after hours trading on the news.

Google and Microsoft have come out with their Financials for the past Quarter, Microsoft Corp. announced quarterly revenue of $18.06 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2012. Operating income and loss per share for the quarter were $192 million and $0.06 per share due to a huge $6.2 billion charge in its online services division relating to its failed 2007 acquisition of aQuantive.

Apple’s bad luck in UK courts continue, after losing a patent case against HTC recently, Apple lost another patent skirmish, this time with Samsung. UK High Court Judge ruled that Samsung tablets don’t infringe Apple patents. High Court of England and Wales ruled that three of Samsung’s Galaxy touch-screen tablet products don’t infringe Apple’s patents.

From October BT want to eek a little bit more money out of you to say thanks for being a loyal customer. They’re set to increase the monthly line rental by 50p per month, while also increasing the connection cost of each call by 1p, which tops it up to a nice round number for 10.9p.
