The twitter feed of news agency Associated Press (AP) was hacked, and “reported” that there was an explosion at The White House, injuring US President Barack Obama. The tweet came around 5 pm BST.

iPhone 4 owners who had not taken advantage of Apple’s free case offer for the ‘AntennaGate’ and filed a class action lawsuit against Apple, were promised $15 checks, instead. The US $15 “AntennaGate” settlement checks have started arriving for qualifying iPhone 4 users.

Geeksphone, a start-up phone manufacturer headquartered in Madrid, Spain who were the first company to sell Firefox OS based phones for sale ran out of stock in just few hours according to a report from TechCrunch. The phones named Keon and Peak were retailing for US $119 and $194 respectively.

A Malware family called Badnews has been discovered by Lookout Security in Google Play developer accounts, Badnews avoided detection and made its way onto the Google Play store has been downloaded between 2-9 million times according to Lookout .

Twitter advertisers rejoice, Twitter has introduced changes to its ad platform which will let advertisers to target ads to Twitter users based on the words used in the tweets and deliver ads based on those keywords. Google updated its YouTube app for iOS on Monday, adding a new features like live streaming and the ability to queue videos for TV playback.
According to the update notes listed in the App Store, version 1.3 brings these new features:

Mozilla will begin selling smartphones running its new mobile operating system this June in nine countries across Continents according to Mozilla CEO Gary Kovacs speaking at AllThingsD’s Dive Into Mobile conference on Monday.
