Twitter has updated its Twitter #music iOS app on Thursday with several new features, including genres replacing the lists feature, #music users gets different genres to listen to including Alternative, Country, Dance, Electronic, Folk, Hip-Hop, Metal, Pop, R&B, and Rock.
The app’s iTunes page gives out more details

Apple on Monday releases second build of its iOS 7 beta 2 to developers, iOS 7 was unveiled during WWDC 2013 earlier this month, the first version left out iPad support, which is included in this beta along with a functional Voice Memos along with performance improvements and bug fixes.

Apple is upgrading it’s iphone processor from an A6 chip to an A7 chip in the iPhone 5S according to images published by MacRumors, iPhone 5S will carry a dual LED which will flash different colored hues depending on the surrounding lighting.
“Additional markings on this new iPhone 5S chip indicate that it carries Elpida DRAM, apparently in the same 1 GB amount seen on the A6”. [...]

Twitter has acquired Spindle, a social media centered start-up a local discovery startup which works on location and check-ins to find local places of interest near a user, Twitter has not surprisingly, shut down spindle, and plans to have the Spindle team work on Twitter’s local discovery service.

HTC officially unveiled it’s much rumoured Butterfly S smartphone on Wednesday at the expected launch event in Taiwan.
HTC Butterfly carries the now almost standard 5-inch 1080p display, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, the same one which is found in HTC One. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD.

Huawei was reportedly considering acquiring Nokia in it’s bid to help Huawei become a global leader in smartphone manufacturing according an article by the Financial Times.
The buyout news boosted Nokia shares in U.S. markets which went up 41 cents, or 11%, to reach $4.10, during US mid day trading on Tuesday.

Huawei unveiled it’s latest Smartphone, the Ascend P6 in London today, Huawei claims that P6 is ‘the world’s slimmest smartphone’.
Huawei P6 is 6.18mm thin, it packs a quad core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz and 2 GB of RAM, it features a 4.7-inch display with a 720p resolution.

Apple as was widely expected took the curtains off it’s rumoured iRadio service named iTunes Radio (not iRadio), an Internet radio service carrying over 200 stations and a catalog of music from the iTunes Store, combined with iTunes functionality, and Siri integration.
