Evernote, the popular note taking service is releasing updates to its Mac and iOS and Windows clients and have introduce native reminders, the need for the feature has been widely discussed on the Internet.

South Korean giant Samsung has bought a 10 percent stake in rival and South Korea’s third largest mobile phone company Pantech according to reports by TheNextWeb .
The purchase was done for a reported sum of 53 billion won or $48 million, Pantech is also Samsung’s component customer, this deal will solidify the relationship between the South Korean companies and help joint research and development.

The worst kept tech secret of last week is true – Microblogging website Tumblr is being acquired by Yahoo. Marissa Mayer announced the deal today morning along with a “promise not to screw it up.” Yohoo! is coughing $1.1 billion for Tumblr, “substantially all of which is payable in cash,” Yahoo said.

Yahoo’s board has just given nod to Yahoo’s CEO Marissa Mayer’s plans to acquire publishing platform Tumblr for $1.1 billion on Sunday according to reports by AllthingsD. Tumblr acquisition will be Yahoos biggest acquisition and the fourth biggest overall.
