YouTube has announced at the Vid-Con 2010 conference that it is now launching support for videos shot with 4K cameras, which are a new generation of very high resolution video cameras, usually out of the reach of most amateur filmographers.

Facebook has announced that its Gift Shop, which allows users to send personalized items -drinks, birthday cakes, and pieces of flair – to friends on the network will close on August 1, 010 to allow it to focus on improving other features. Facebook has been proactive with its mobile apps particularly with iPhone app since iPhone launch three years ago. It has released an updated version of their mobile app for the iPhone . The latest version 3.1.3 contains several major updates and important bug fixes, including the ability to watch Facebook videos and upload larger pictures on the iPhone.

Spotify, the hugely popular peer-to-peer music streaming service which had started two new services last month and upgraded its iPhone and Android apps isnt done with release and features yet. iPhone 4G is here. As expected Steve Jobs has launched the iPhone at the opening keynote of World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco, California which commenced a couple of hours ago.
