Federal Trade Commission has announced on Thursday that it has reached a settlement agreement with Google, bringing the FTC’s antitrust investigations against to a conclusion.

Pinterest bought Punchfork, a 2-year old recipe sharing and discovery website, for an undisclosed sum according to Punchfork’s founder and CEO Jeff Miller in an e-mail to the website’s community. Punchfork will soon shut down its website, app and API.

WhatsApp had tweeted that they have processed 18 billion messages in one day on New Year’s Eve, out of which 7 billion messages were inbound and 11 billion messages outbound.
WhatsApp surpassed 1 billion messages sent in a single day in November, 2011. Last August, it was handling 10 billion messages per day.
