PC sales registered “steepest decline ever in a single quarter” by falling as much as 14 percent this quarter on a year over year basis according to a report by IDC, who had earlier forecasted a 7.7 percent decline,  this is the biggest decline since IDC started tracking the PC market nearly two decades ago. Apple’s iPad accounted for 68.3 percent of global tablet shipments last quarter according to Strategy Analytics.
