Google today announce the much anticipated Nexus 4 smartphone and Nexus 10 tablet, as well as an increased storage space available on the Nexus 7 tablet while maintaining its pricing. Its Android Jelly Bean operating system also got an update.

Google has rolled out an update to its Google Drive iOS app that atlast lets iOS users edit their Google Drive documents on the go, just as you can already do with the Android app.
That’s not all, iOS users can also view Google presentations on iOS device, this also means that you can now view speaker notes and use full-screen mode for presentations in Google Drive for iOS.

According to Canaccord Genuity, Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone has dethroned Apple’s iPhone 4S as the bestselling smartphone in the US in August. Apple’s iPhone 4S has remained at the top of the pile since its introduction last October. iPhone 4S sales in the US had been dipping in anticipation of the new iPhone launch, and the Galaxy S III’s has managed to capitalise on that.

Magid Associates’s recently survey of 4,734 cell phone and smartphone owners revealed that 50% of people currently own an iPad, down significantly from 72% at last count. Android sales declined by 5% over last year, according to a report by Strategy Analysts, Google’s mobile OS’s market share dropped from 60.6 percent a year earlier to 56.3 percent and according to the report Android may be “approaching a peak” in its market share.
