The last week of August was a busy time for Apple maybe because it was the silly season and all the journos and bloggers were on the holidays, and maybe because it was HOT, which seems like a funny time to release Snow Leopard.

News just in; Apple have actually approved the Spotify app.
None of us though it would actually happen.
We’re left wondering if iTunes will replace 7digital as media download partners.

A couple of weeks ago, the largest 3G wireless operator in USA, Verizon, announced the launch of a new app store: the Widget Bazaar. This storefront is aimed at providing new widgets and applications for its Fios TV clients. In its first ever developer conference at San Jose, California, on Tuesday, Verizon Wireless announced its own V cast application store as a direct competitor to Apple and its App Store. The new application is expected to come out in the forth quarter of 2009.

We all know about the world’s most popular smartphone operating system, Symbian. Starting in October, Symbian will provide one of the world’s largest mobile applications (or apps) database.
