On Tuesday, along with the iPad Mini, Apple’s Philip Schiller introduced two new versions of its long-running series of iMac, with 21.5- and 27-inch screens. The new iMacs are 45 percent thinner than the earlier version and measure only 5 mm thick at the edge, and are eight pounds lighter. The UK’s Court of Appeal has upheld UK High Court’s  ruling that Samsung did not copy the iPad with its Galaxy tablet. Britain’s High Court ruled in favor of Samsung, explaining that Samsung’s Galaxy tablet, although Samsung’s products were “very, very similar”, they are simply “not as cool” as the iPad, and can therefore not be confused with Apple’s tablet.
