According to a preliminary ruling on Friday by International Trade Commission Judge at the Apple did not violate patents owned by Samsung in making the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. This gives Apple yet another victory over Samsung in the current patent war being fought by the two companies in numerous countries around the world.

Early bird gets the worm, err, the iPhone. Apple’s blockbuster and eagerly awaited iPhone 5 pre-order stock was sold out in one hour after the pre-ordering started at 8:00 a.m. this morning (at 12:01 a.m. PST on Friday, September 14).

A day after launching the new iPhone, iPod and iTunes Apple has today launched the new iteration of iCloud.com for all users, earlier the portal was available as a beta product. iCloud.com hosts Mail, Contacts and Calendar, Find my iPhone, Notes, Reminders and iWork apps.

J.D. Power’s latest survey of tablet users found that Apple leads the market in customer satisfaction, which is not surprising considering the immense popularity and reputation Apple’s tablets and its other devices command.

Apple is retiring Ping, its iTunes based music Social Networking service on September 30th, they are no longer accepting new members as of today.

Along with the unveiling of the new iPhone 5, Apple had announced that it will run iOS 6, and developers were waiting for the GM (Golden Master) seed of iOS 6, which is now available and ready for download on Apple’s Developer page.

As expected Apple took the wraps of its latest iPhone at the company’s massive press event in San Francisco. Pre-orders for the iPhone 5 will begin on September 14, and the device will ship to lucky consumers starting on September 21. The AntiSec hacker group claimed last week that it has more than 12 million Apple iOS Unique Device IDs. The hackers said that the UDIDs were obtained from a FBI employee laptop, both Apple and the FBI had denied the breach.
