Apple has reportedly bought Poly9, a canada based online mapping company, and has relocated most of the firm’s employees to Apple’s Silicon Valley, California offices, If reports by Cyberpresse and The Sun are to be believed, Poly9 would be the second mapping company Apple purchased after its acquisition of Placebase, a company that produced a maps application programming interface [...]

Apple is leaving no stone unturned to sell its tablet device, the iPad maker is apparently buying Google AdWords ads targeting potential buyers of the Dell Streak and HP Slate.

After the initial heart rendering iPhone 4 commercial few months ago, Apple has posted four new TV commercials to entice people to buy the new iPhone 4, heavily promoting FaceTime, a feature typical to the new smartphone which allows device owners to carry out video calls over a Wi-Fi network.

eBay seems to be working furiously on expanding its mobile applications, The ecommerce giants has announced the release of eBay Selling application and its eBay for iPad application. NTP Corporation has filed a lawsuit against six leading cell phone makers for infringing on its patents for delivering email to cell phones. The companies against whom cases were filed are Apple , Google , Microsoft , Motorola , HTC and LG. NTP claims that the companies are infringing eight of NTP’s patents related to the delivery of email over a wireless network.
