Apple has filed a motion in support of gay marriage to the US Supreme Court according to a report by Bloomberg. The specific group will argue that Proposition 8, a California law banning gay marriage, should be overturned.

Android and iOS once again dominated the smartphone market with 91.1 percent of all global smartphone shipments for the fourth quarter of 2012. Android and Apple shipped and landed 87.6 percent of the 722.4 million smartphones shipped worldwide in 2012 according to a report by IDC.

Apple’s mobile iOS 6.1 has plethora of issues including connection issues and battery problems and now a security flaw discovered in iOS 6.1 lets people bypass the lock screen of your iPhone.

Apple and Samsung accountes for 52 percent of all global smartphone sales in fourth quarter of 2012 according to a report by Gartner. Overall, mobile phone sales declined across the globe by 1.7 percent last year, the last time when sales fell were in 2009.
