Apple’s developer website has been inaccessible since Thursday last week and was rumoured to be compromised by hackers, Apple was tight lipped about it until this morning, yesterday Apple sent an email to developers explaining that it had detected a breach on its servers on Thursday.

Yahoo has just announced through a tweet on Wednesday that they have purchased GhostBird Software, the makers of advanced iOS photography apps, KitCam and PhotoForge and will be integrated with Flickr.
GhostBird has said that no further development will be done on either app, and they don’t intend to support new versions of iOS in an announcement on their website.

Couple of weeks ago Apple said that it was close to reaching 50 billion downloads mark in it App Store, today they have crossed the threshold of 50 billion downloads. Apple’s App Store was launched five years ago in July 2008.

Adobe AIR on Android
Adobe AIR app is now available in the Android Market. This doesn’t mean much at the moment for us users, as the Adobe AIR app comes without any applications. GV Mobile
Yes, its happening – Apple obviously has buried its hatchet with Google Voice based apps. After allowing GV Connect, a U.S. $3 native Google Voice app for the iPhone yesterday GV Mobile + will now make it reappearance on App Store.
