Facebook Page Browser
Facebook has officially launched a new feature for helping users discover Facebook Pages, the tool is called “Page Browser,”and was briefly available to users earlier this month.
Page Browser suggestions are tailored based on pages users previously ‘Liked’, and following a new Page simply entails clicking on its icon.

IE 9
Microsoft’s is all geared up to release Internet Explorer 9, the new version of Internet Explorer browser to all and sundry today. IE9 Beta is reported to be a beta that’s technically complete, so we shouldn’t have much to fear when the download is available later today. We are waiting to see how it will stand up to Firefox 4.0 which is also in beta.

Apple Safari icon
After releasing new hardware yesterday Apple has today debuted Safari 5.0.1 which addresses a number of issues with the initial release, including the problem with black backgrounds appearing when generating mail attachments with scripts, and the potential security vulnerability with autofill. Google have launched their first television advertising campaign ever. To be shown only in the US, their ad is promoting Chrome.
Chrome being Google’s Internet browser that caused much hype in 2008, grabbing 1.4% of the market. This may not sound a lot, but for the browser market that’s huge. Any company that can take a chunk of Microsoft’s monopoly definitely has something to brag [...]
