Yahoo is organizing a press event in New York on Monday, May 20th which will be addressed by CEO Marissa Mayer according to CNBC, the event will be “product-related,” which is rumoured to be about Yahoo’s Tumblr acquisition.

Tumblr released an updated iOS app on Wednesday, improvements includes new sharing features that allows Twitter and Facebook sharing, linking to third party apps like Tweetbot, the ability to save content for later reading and new templates for sharing posts through email.

Facebook unveiled HTC First, the first Android powered smartphone that will debut with the Facebook Home suite of integrated apps with it right from the start at the “Home on Android” event.

Reports of Facebook launching a Facebook-built Android phone on HTC got traction last week after Facebook sent invites for a April 4 media event.

Facebook is up to something. Facebook sent out an invitation to the media early this morning (Thursday afternoon San Francisco / Pacific Time), inviting media personnel to attend an event on April 4 where Facebook would show off their “new home on Android.”

Facebook today unveiled the much hyped and awaited major redesign to its News Feed at it’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California.
Facebook soon will have a bunch of new feeds for games, music, sports, photos, events, and news. It features bigger photos and videos, and the desktop version now has the same navigation as the mobile versions.

Facebook announced yesterday that it has acquired of the Atlas Solutions marketer-side adserver business from Microsoft.
