Facebook today announced an update to Facebook for iOS and Android that lets the mobile users discover new places their friends like, with this revamp Facebook seems to be getting ready to compete even more closely with Foursquare and Yelp.

Foursquare on Symbian OS
Nokia unveiled Foursquare application for mobile OS Symbian^3 based phones at Nokia World in London yesterday . The mobile app will debut at the revamped Ovi Store as a featured application early next week.
Foursquare for Nokia is nicely integrated with Ovi Maps with the style and function similar to the Foursquare apps on other mobile Operating Systems.
