Android sales declined by 5% over last year, according to a report by Strategy Analysts, Google’s mobile OS’s market share dropped from 60.6 percent a year earlier to 56.3 percent and according to the report Android may be “approaching a peak” in its market share.

Google didn’t delete Street View data after all

Google’s GTalk is currently down. Users are not able to see contacts or send messages, in some cases contacts are visible, the messages won’t get sent. As is the norm now various users on Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites have reported this first.

If you had planned on buying a 16GB Nexus 7 but have not already, there is some bad news for you – It’s sold out. Google is no longer taking orders for the £199 model. Google and Microsoft have come out with their Financials for the past Quarter, Microsoft Corp. announced quarterly revenue of $18.06 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2012. Operating income and loss per share for the quarter were $192 million and $0.06 per share due to a huge $6.2 billion charge in its online services division relating to its failed 2007 acquisition of aQuantive.

Google has started shipping Nexus 7 pre-orders to customers who ordered the device from Google Play stores outside of the United States.
