The UK’s Court of Appeal has upheld UK High Court’s  ruling that Samsung did not copy the iPad with its Galaxy tablet. Britain’s High Court ruled in favor of Samsung, explaining that Samsung’s Galaxy tablet, although Samsung’s products were “very, very similar”, they are simply “not as cool” as the iPad, and can therefore not be confused with Apple’s tablet. Google unfinished financial results for last quarter were release accidentally far ahead of schedule today on the SEC’s website Google is blaming the financial printer RR Donnelley for this screw up. Google was awarded $1,130,350 in fees stemming from its patent battle with Oracle,  Californian Judge William Alsup ruled on Tuesday. Google has asked for  $4 million for fees related to court appointed expert Dr. James Kearl, as well as electronic document discovery conducted by FTI Consulting.
