iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 users who upgraded to iOS 6 are complaining about the quickly draining batteries, even on standby some users have complained that the charge is dropping almost 50% in few hours.
Apple Support Boards are innundated with users complaning about the mess “Used my 4S the same as every other work day. Usually come home with about 60 percent. Came home today with 17 percent.” [...]

After backlash its new iOS Maps app from reviewers and users since iOS 6’s launch yesterday, Apple PR person Trudy Miller told AllThingsD in a statement:
Customers around the world are upgrading to iOS 6 with over 200 new features including Apple Maps, our first map service. We are excited to offer this service with innovative new features like Flyover, turn by turn navigation, and Siri integration. [...]

Along with the unveiling of the new iPhone 5, Apple had announced that it will run iOS 6, and developers were waiting for the GM (Golden Master) seed of iOS 6, which is now available and ready for download on Apple’s Developer page.
iOS GM seed is the final version of the iOS sent out to developers before it is released to the end users, it is available for the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, [...]

Apple has not ignored its touch based iPod this year, unlike last year, Apple announced an update to the iPod touch line of devices. The newest 5th generation iPod touch also runs the dual core A5 processor and shares the same larger 4-inch screen as the iPhone 5.
The new fifth generation iPod touch is just 6.1mm thick , its made of anodized aluminum and weighs grams. It also features Siri support [...]
