Apple has few hours ago released iOS 6.0.2 for the iPhone 5 and iPad mini , which fixes a software bug which hampers the connections and speeds of the WiFi connection. Apple has already tried to fix this once before with iOS 6.0.1, but it seems that the problem has persisted.
Users can plug their iPhone 5 or iPad mini into iTunes to install the update, or wait for the OTA system to be activated. [...]

Everyone knew it was be popular, but Google Maps for iOS was downloaded an incredible 10 million downloads in its first two days of release on iOS. That accounts for roughly 2.5% of iOS devices sold.

Dropbox reported on its blog on Friday the launch of new iOS app that introduces a redesigned, streamlined UI, a new Photos tab that allows you to scroll through a timeline of your automatically uploaded photos, and improvements to the photo-viewing experience.
Dropbox boasted that uploads have now been improved, allowing users to ” tap the ‘+’ icon to upload something or create a new folder.”

YouTube has updated the YouTube app for iOS on Tuesday with support for the iPhone 5′s display, along with the ability to stream videos over AirPlay to the Apple TV or other enabled devices more easily.

Google has released a much needed new version of its iOS Gmail app for iPhone and iPad promising a “faster, sleeker and easier” email experience.
The release adds key features such as support for multiple accounts and auto-complete functionality. You can now log in to as many as five Google accounts and switch among them with a couple of taps.

Apple on Monday seeded Mac developers with the first test build of OS X 10.8.3. The initial build from the Mac Dev Center available to the developers who are enrolled on the OS X developer program.
