Facebook is rolling out a Photo Sync feature for iOS users which is already available on Android, the feature allows the user to upload photos directly from the phone’s album to a private album on Facebook.

Nokia has launched an iOS 6 maps alternative named Nokia Here mapping application, for iOS devices running iOS 4.3 and up, the iOS version has the same features which are seen on Nokia Windows Mobile OS like nearby places discovery, but there are also crucial components like transit direction that aren’t present in Apple’s Maps app.

Facebook has launched its new mobile Share button on Android, iOS and mobile web. The button has been rumored for some time .
Facebook’s Aditya Koolwal says that the Share button “gives people a fast way to share stories with friends from their mobile phones, just as they can from their computers.”

Twitter is currently being flooded with messages that “iMessage is down” or “iMessage outage.” The iMessage outage appears to have occurred around 9:00 pm BST. There has been no statement from Apple on the cause of the iMessage outage, nor has the company said when service will be restored.

A day after launching the new iPhone, iPod and iTunes Apple has today launched the new iteration of iCloud.com for all users, earlier the portal was available as a beta product. iCloud.com hosts Mail, Contacts and Calendar, Find my iPhone, Notes, Reminders and iWork apps.

Google has rolled out an update to its Google Drive iOS app that atlast lets iOS users edit their Google Drive documents on the go, just as you can already do with the Android app.
That’s not all, iOS users can also view Google presentations on iOS device, this also means that you can now view speaker notes and use full-screen mode for presentations in Google Drive for iOS.

A major security flaw in iOS that allows for spoofing of SMS messages has been discovered by security researcher Pod2g which allow malicious texters to spoof SMS messages and make them appear to come from other person’s mobile phone, potentially getting users to reveal information they normally would not, or rack up inadvertent charges on their bill.
