Apple released OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3 to developers after releasing build 12D50 earlier this month on Jan. 8 with no known issues. Apple’s MAC OS X operating system versions follow the pattern of naming after felines, since OS X debuted in 2001 we had Cheetah, Puma, Jaguar, Panther, Tiger, Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion. The current version, OS X 10.8, is known as Mountain Lion.
