Facebook’s announced it’s Q2 2013 earnings today, the results are much better than expected thanks to a massive increase in mobile advertising, it reported its best fiscal quarter to date with revenues of US $1.813 billion and a net profit of US $ 333 million against expectations of $1.62 billion revenue.

Mark Zuckerberg has been in Seoul, South Korea this week and earlier met with top executives including the company’s president Shin Jong Kyun and chairman Kun-hee Lee according to Bloomberg to discuss a partnership that would boost Facebook’s advertising sales on mobile phones.

Facebook today unveiled the much hyped and awaited major redesign to its News Feed at it’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California.
Facebook soon will have a bunch of new feeds for games, music, sports, photos, events, and news. It features bigger photos and videos, and the desktop version now has the same navigation as the mobile versions.
